Xiaomi has brought a new Mijia Air Conditioning Natural Wind Vertical 3 HP air conditioner to its domestic market. The model is listed on JD.com for 4,300 yuan (US$630).

Air distribution, reach and performance

The unit is positioned around even airflow throughout the room, with a stated 115-degree sweep and an air-throw distance of up to 13 metres. It also includes a two-zone "soft breeze" mode, directing gentle airflow separately to the upper and lower areas. Output is rated at 1,752 m³/h, which is intended to help the space heat up or cool down quickly.

Integrates into the smart home ecosystem

Xiaomi is also highlighting the device’s smart features. The air conditioner can be tied into a smart home ecosystem and supports control from a smartphone.
