The problem is often not dirt at all. It is a mix of chemistry, water quality and a packed schedule.
Hard water can leave a haze that takes the sparkle off chrome and gradually blocks aerators. Heavy-duty cleaners may look like the fastest route, but they bring fumes and extra expense. A more low-key solution is usually already in the kitchen cupboard.
