Xiaomi expands Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max sales to the US and Germany

Xiaomi has started selling the cordless Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max in additional countries, including the United States and Germany. The model is priced at $324 and €400 respectively, which puts it at the higher end for a handheld vacuum, but the company is clearly positioning it to compete with Dyson devices. In terms of design, the new release genuinely echoes Dyson’s approach, including the visibly exposed cyclones.

Suction power and filtration figures

The vacuum comes with a multi-stage filtration system which, according to Xiaomi, captures 99.98% of fine dust. Claimed suction performance is 280 air watts and 25,000 Pa.

90 minutes of runtime and automatic suction power adjustment

Xiaomi says the vacuum can run for up to 90 minutes in energy-saving mode. When using the electric floor brush, runtime drops to 70 minutes.

To make day-to-day use easier, Xiaomi has included an automatic mode where a built-in dust sensor adjusts suction power on its own. The level of dirt is shown via colour indication. The model also has a light on the floor brush to help spot dust in darker areas, plus a dedicated attachment for removing pet hair.
