Hot water delivery reaches 1.5 l/min
Launch in China and pricing
Xiaomi has started selling the Mijia Instant Water Purifier 2 Pro Dual-Outlet in China in two versions: 1200G and 1600G. The new models are priced at 3,699 yuan ($540) and 4,299 yuan ($630) respectively. Notably, the pricing remains the same as during the pre-order period.
Instant heating and filtration performance
These devices are designed to heat and purify water quickly. Xiaomi says it uses a new instant-heating technology that enables a hot-water flow rate of up to 1.5 l/min. In heat-exchange mode, the unit can dispense up to 10 litres of fresh hot water at 95 °C in one go.
It also employs an automatic cold-water return feature that sends cold water back from the pipe, preventing hot and cold water from mixing and improving temperature accuracy at the outlet.
Dual-outlet tap, temperature control and rotation
The model comes with a dual tap with separate water delivery: the upper outlet provides the most thoroughly purified water suitable for drinking, while the lower outlet is intended for deep filtration of household water. The two lines are physically isolated to prevent cross-mixing.
In addition, the purifier supports four preset temperature modes, and the mobile app allows precise temperature adjustment from 40 to 90 °C in 1 °C increments. The taps can rotate through 160°.
