36th Bazar do Móvel in Rebordosa runs 3–12 July 2026 to support local Volunteer Firefighters

36th Bazar do Móvel in Rebordosa: dates and organisation

Rebordosa - and, in particular, the Associação de Bombeiros Voluntários de Rebordosa - is hosting the 36th edition of the Bazar do Móvel. The event, which began this Friday and continues until 12 July 2026, is regarded as one of the region’s most established and significant social-solidarity initiatives, and is organised in full by the Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Rebordosa.

Furniture donations, design and attractive prices

At the heart of the Bazar do Móvel is a close partnership between the local business community and the public cause. Over recent months, furniture manufacturers in the area have joined forces to donate a wide range of furniture and decorative pieces to the fire brigade. These items will now be made available to the public through a sales exhibition with competitive, appealing prices, making the fair a standout option for anyone looking to refresh their home with quality pieces while also supporting a worthy cause.

How the funds support humanitarian action and sustainability

For the Associação Humanitária, the money raised over these ten days provides an essential financial buffer. The funds collected are earmarked specifically to help meet the brigade’s high operating costs, enabling the upkeep and upgrading of personal protective equipment, emergency response vehicles and the vital infrastructure needed to ensure day-to-day readiness and effective humanitarian action for local communities.
