Last year’s much-loved event is being staged again.
Dates and opening times for Ikea charity car boot sales
In 2025, the public turnout was clearly strong, so Ikea has chosen to repeat its charity car boot sales. They will take place in front of selected Ikea stores in France on 6 June, from 8:00 to 18:00.
There is one exception: the Ikea store in Dijon will hold a second car boot sale on 13 June, running from 8:00 to 17:00.
How the charity element works
As a reminder, all profits made on the day are donated to local charities, making it a practical and enjoyable way to support community organisations.
Prices, pitch size and limits
As the Swedish retailer explains on its website, you should allow 10 euros per pitch, with a maximum of two pitches per stallholder. Each pitch corresponds to a single parking bay of around 2.50 m.

How to take part
Taking part is straightforward. You simply need to be a member of the retailer’s loyalty programme: IKEA Family. Creating an account is free and is done directly on the platform. You then need to pay the 10 euros registration fee (which, as explained above, does not go into Ikea’s pocket).
Registration is available via the dedicated page until Wednesday 3 June at midnight, but spaces are not unlimited, so it is best to plan ahead. On the day itself, stallholders can check in from 6:00 in the morning. Hopefully, this information will be useful and help you prepare as well as possible for the event.
