Xiaomi launches pre-orders for Mijia Instant Heating Water Purifier 2 Pro in 1200G and 1600G

Devices come with two taps

Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the new Mijia Instant Heating Water Purifier 2 Pro in 1200G and 1600G versions. The new models are priced at 3,699 yuan ($540) and 4,299 yuan ($630) respectively.

The purifier features Dual Instant Heating 3.0, a technology designed to heat water instantly. According to the manufacturer, hot water can be dispensed at up to 1.5 litres per minute. It also uses an automatic cold-water return system that clears any water left in the pipes, helping the unit control the outlet temperature more accurately.

The standout element is a dual-tap design with separate water delivery. The upper tap is intended for ultra-pure water, while the lower tap provides deeply filtered water for everyday household use. The water channels are physically separated to prevent any mixing.

Four preset temperature modes are supported, and the smartphone app allows finer adjustment from 40°C to 90°C in 1°C increments. Xiaomi also notes that the purifier can be integrated into a smart home ecosystem. The taps rotate through 160°.
